Mango Hill Hotel

This mixed-use development in Mango Hill, Queensland for Maple Development centres on a five-storey, 112-room hotel, a wellness centre and community green spaces hosting food trucks, farmers' markets, a performance stage and other recreational uses. Design inputs were provided by Open Architecture Studio and Constructions Group Australia. The 2.5ha greenfield site is flood-affected land requiring the scheme to manage overland flow during significant weather events.

Maple Developments engaged Neoscape, where I worked as Project Director before founding Newberry & Co. In that role, planning approval updates and surrounding infrastructure upgrades were progressed, as well as a coordinated concept design across the hotel and mixed-use components.
